The enneagram does in fact come from the occult. It is easily provable and doesn't take much research to find this out. Since the 60s the enneagram has been presented with nine personality profiles that came from automatic writing which is similar to using a Ouija board except with automatic writing spirits move your hand with a writing utensil instead of a planchette. The enneagram is mostly used in New Age/gnostic religions but Richard Rohr and others from the "progressive/liberal Christian church" have been introducing this to Christians as a helpful tool. If you wouldn't take advice from a Ouija board you would not take advice from the nine personality profiles that come along with the personality tests using the enneagram.

The symbol I put around the enneagram is also known as the ohms symbol which stands for resistance. As you can see it is much larger than the road and is letting anyone and everything pass through it with almost no resistance at all. So I decided to use this as sort of a symbol to represent the progressive church which is, "The Faith of Least Resistance" - the wide gate, the easy path, the religion that calls itself Christianity and will tell our itching ears what we want to hear. It is a deception, a counterfeit and should be avoided. Instead we should take the narrow path that leads to life (which is on the back cover of the album artwork).
